Below you will find every possible detail you would need to know about the event.
First, you should know that our number one priority is safety. While we want this to be a fun, enjoyable event for all, safety is our biggest concern.
For that reason, helmets and bike lights are MANDATORY. If you are in the first 100 sign ups you will receive a novelty bike lights, but we still recommend you have additional lights on the bike.

Checking in (8:45pm to 9:45pm)
We are asking that each person come to the check in tent prior to the event. This is when you will receive your pre purchased T shirt, bike lights, two drink tokens for post ride drinks, and ticket for ice cream. You will also receive a wrist band. Please put that on prior to starting the ride. We ask that you arrive no later than 9:45pm so you have ample time to check in , get your bike ready, and use the portable bathrooms if needed.
Ride Start (10pm)
The ride will roll out at 10pm with a police car as the lead. As a reminder, this is a cruise, and not a race. Do NOT attempt to pass the lead police car. The left lane of Watson Road will be closed going East bound for our riders designated with cones. Please stay in this lane until the turn around point. We will have additional police units closing intersections as the ride goes down Watson. There may be moments the police car needs to stop at certain lights, but this will be avoided as much as possible. The final riders will be followed by a SAG vehicle, ambulance, and a police vehicle.
Once the last police vehicle has left the parking lot, no riders will be able to enter the road so you MUST be ready to roll at 10pm.
The halfway (approximately 5.5 miles) point/our turn around is the former Here Today store in Shrewsbury. At this point, all riders will be asked to wait until the last rider has arrived to turn around and come back to Home Depot. Please note, that unfortunately we will not have any portable bathrooms at this site. The ride will resume when the lead police car starts back on Watson. Riders will enter into the left lane of West bound Watson to return to Home Depot.
If you would have a mechanical issue or need to drop out of the ride, please do so by going to the side of the road, being mindful of car traffic as you do so. We will have vehicles on the ride available to pick you up and take you back to the start if needed.
We invite you to enjoy your 2 post ride drinks! We will also be selling Bike Cruise Shirts for $15 and be giving away tune ups from our sponsors Sunset Cyclery! We have a post ride concert so lawn chairs are encouraged!
