Sunset Hills Buildings Go Green

Mayor Fribis received a check from Jennifer Geen of Trane and Lincoln Boschert of Ameren for the installation of new, efficient LED lighting, HVAC equipment and a Building Automation system (BAS) for the City campus. The grant from Ameren is based on the proven energy savings of the project.  Trane and City personnel are now able to monitor, control, and schedule occupancy times of campus buildings including City Hall, the Community Center, the Public Works Garage, and the Police Facility. Ameren reviewed the performance of the newly installed lighting & equipment. They were able to award the City of Sunset Hills with a check in the amount of $137,904.45. Congratulations to all involved with this effort!
