When you are going to leave your home for two or more days, call our Vacation Watch line at 849-7867. You will be asked a few questions; we will then place your home on our Vacation Watch List. We will be asking for an emergency contact just in case we need to inform you of any occurrences.
Sunset Hills patrol officers will check your house daily.

Various schools, scouting, and church groups have toured our new police facility. Our officers also respond to schools and businesses to give talks of interest to miscellaneous groups. If you are interested in touring the station or having an officer talk to your group, please call and ask to schedule a tour.

The department is available for citizens needing to have fingerprint cards completed. Our department can offer only partial criminal history record checks. A complete record check has to be obtained at the St. Louis County Police Department located at 7900 Forsyth Blvd. in Clayton, Missouri.

This year millions of school children around the world will benefit from D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education), the highly acclaimed program that gives kids the skills they need to avoid involvement in drugs, gangs, and violence. D.A.R.E. was founded in 1983 in Los Angeles and has proven so successful that it is now being implemented in 75 percent of our nation's school districts and in more than 43 countries around the world. D.A.R.E. is a police officer-led series of classroom lessons that teaches children in 5th grade how to resist peer pressure and live productive drug and violence-free lives.
