Office Staff

Bryson E. Baker, PECity Engineer/Director of Public Works Bryson E. Baker, PE comes to the City of Sunset Hills with Public Works Administration experience from both the City of Fairview Heights, IL. and City of Arnold, MO.  A graduate in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale, with a Masters in Public Administration from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, he is a father of 2 boys and stays heavily involved with their sporting activities of soccer, baseball and basketball.  In his spare time he enjoys spheroidal impact studies (aka golf) and playing basketball.

Wes SearcyAssistant City Engineer Wesley E. Searcy is a graduate of the University of Missouri at Rolla's Mechanical Engineering department.  Wes started with the City of Sunset Hills in February of 1988.  He is married, a father and enjoys hobbies of live music performance, antique car restoration, home improvement, travel, computers and sailing.  Wes looks after street improvement projects from planning to contract management, computer network administration, GIS adminstration and he is involved in all areas related to Public Works.

Pat MooreThe City's Assistant Zoning Enforcement Officer and Office Administrator is Pat "Trish" Moore.  She has been with Sunset Hills since September of 1997.   Trish enjoys crafts, home improvement, local stock car events, riding the Harley with her husband Russ and will glady talk to you about the grandkids.  She is involved in the day to day operations of the Public Works office and coordinates matters that need preliminary direction for approval to P&Z or the Board of Adjustment.

Scott ReedPublic Works Building Inspector Scott Reed has been with the City since November of 2002.  Scott is married and a father who enjoys home improvement & architecture, antique car restoration and riding motorcycle on & off road.  With the whole world as his "Buddy," Scott implements the City's Occupancy Permit program, enforces City Code and helps in other areas of inspection in the City.
 
Rebecca WulffThe first voice you'll hear with the Public Works Department is Rebecca Wulff.  Rebecca's been with Sunset Hills since August of 2009.  She enjoys volunteer work with the St. Louis Animal Shelter, Arts & Crafts, Yard Sales and her seven 4-legged animals (5 cats and 2 rats!) and enjoys many of these activites with her husband, Eric.  She can assist you with questions concerning Public Works or direct your call to the appropriate person.  She also tracks Sign, Excavation, Occupancy & Building permits from submission through approval.

 

 Garage Staff

Bob RiggsYour Street Superintendent is Robert H. Riggs, Jr. Bob has been with Sunset Hills since June of 1981.  He is your main contact for historical reference and issues regarding street maintenance.  Bob is an accomplished fly fisherman who makes his own lures and enjoys camping, the outdoors and home improvement with his wife Patty.   He manages an 11 man street department who handle all maintenance aspects of the City's 54 centerline mile street network.

Bob SchmidtStreet Department Mechanic Theodore "Bob" Schmidt manages the equipment maintenance for the entire Public Works Department.  Bob has been with the City since March of 1994.  He was the #36 car at I-55 raceway, #1 in the hearts of local stockcar racing enthusiasts (minus the other racers).  Most recently he performed vehicle inspections in the pits that further endeared him to the other drivers (NOT!).  Bob provides most of the maintenance for the Public Works equipment fleet.

Jeff RodenbergPublic Works Foreman Jeff Rodenberg began his tenure with Sunset Hills in April of 2009.  Jeff is married to Tiffany, the father of two and the Rodenberg family make their home in Cedar Hill, MO.  Jeff enjoys hobbies of hunting and fishing, but spends the majority of his time with his family. 


Henry WaynePublic Works Assistant Foreman Henry Wayne came from the Sunset Hills Parks Department in July of 2011.  He loves to hunt, fish and is an avid cork ball enthusiast.  Henry is justifiably proud of his wife and baby daughter.

Paul FannonStreet Department employee Paul Fannon came to the Public Works Department via the Sunset Hills Parks Department in August of 1995.  Paul makes his home in Fenton and enjoys hunting, fishing, motorcycling and other outdoor activities with his family.
 
Eric BarthelStreet Department employee Eric Barthel has been with Sunset Hills since December of 2005.  He is married and stays plenty busy with his four children.  He is quickly getting them interested in his hobbies of hunting, fishing and camping.

Thomas VoloskiStreet Department employee Thomas Voloski has been with the City since October of 2007.  Tom makes his home in Granite City, IL. where he enjoys motorcycling, shooting pool, and the game of darts.

John ColemanStreet Department employee John Coleman started with the City of Sunset Hills in June of 2011.  He came to Sunset Hills with prior experience with the City of Berkley and enjoys football and the game of pool.

Jerry EimeStreet Department employee Jerry Eime, a self-described workaholic, Jerry runs a lawn service business, restores tractors, but will take time off to run 4-wheelers and fish.  Jerry came to us with experience from MoDOT.

Brandon SullivanStreet Department employee Brandon Sullivan came to Sunset Hills from St. Louis County Department of Highway & Traffic in June of 2012. A shy man with an infectious smile, Brandon has upped the ante with our department’s ability to perform quality concrete work in-house. Away from work he cuts hair, enjoys bowling, spending time with his daughter and live music performance.
