For any digging, contractors and residents alike are advised to call Missouri One Call for utility locations! (800) DIG-RITE or 800-344-7483.

When any of these utilities dig within City Right of Way, they make temporary repairs then contract out the final repairs of the street pavement within a couple of months to insure for proper compaction of the backfill of the project. 

 

Waste Hauler

The City solicited and received bids for the residential waste hauling contract in August 2009. The Board of Aldermen approved the contract with American Eagle Waste at the September 8, 2009 Aldermanic meeting. By accepting this contract, effective December 1, 2009 American Eagle Waste became the only waste hauler in the City. Basic Service includes: Once a week solid waste pickup, once a week recycle pickup (in 65 gallon wheeled container provided by contractor) and twice per year bulky item pickup. The monthly rates are as follows:

Basic Service $15.50
(Includes 65 gallon recycle bin provided by American Eagle)
Yard Waste once a week year round $9.00
Yard Waste Seasonal (Mar – Nov.) $11.00
Additional second weekly pickup $9.00
65 gallon container rental for solid Waste $3.00
*Senior Citizen, Basic Service $13.95
*Senior Citizen service is one or more occupants of a residential dwelling unit age 65 or older. Service is limited to 65 gallons of solid waste and 65 gallons of recycle per week.
