Sunset Hills Golden Anniversary Celebration Closes the Books
Makes donation for parks equipment for special needs children

The Sunset Hills Golden Anniversary Celebration, a non-profit founded to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the founding of Sunset Hills, announced today that it was dissolving after a successful year of celebration.

"We are thrilled by the generosity of Sunset Hills residents," said Mayor John Hunzeker. He continued, "Not only were we able to have a successful year of events and celebrations that marked our founding, in closing the books today we
are donating $50,000 to purchase playground equipment for special needs children."

The equipment will be installed at Watson Trail Park by Game Time Playground Equipment, a playground equipment manufacturer. Construction is expected to be completed in four to six weeks depending on weather.
