Notice is hereby given that at 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 27, 2008; a Public Hearing will be held by the Board of Adjustment in the Assembly Room of City Hall, 3939 S. Lindbergh Blvd. The Board will consider the following petitions

1.) A Notice of Appeal submitted by Justin Clark to vary the front yard setback from the required 25' to 17' for the purpose of constructing a new home on the property at 9500 Fringe Court. (A-1-08)

2.) A Notice of Appeal submitted by Wired Coffee to vary the requirements of the sign regulations for a sign to be located on the property of the business or buiding it advertises for Wired Coffee at 3860 S. Lindbergh Blvd. (A-2-08)

Notice is hereby given that at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 8, 2008; a Public Hearing will be held by the Board of Aldermen in the Assembly Room of City Hall, 3939 S. Lindbergh Blvd. The Board will consider the following petitions

1.) A Conditional Use Permit issued to Ernie Patti Oldsmobile for the property at 10505 Watson Road to operate an auto sales and leasing business originally issued in December 2006. (P-33-06)

2.) A request to discuss the Planning and Zoning Strategies for the St. Louis County Phase II Storm Water Protection Plan. (P-47-07)

3.) A request for an Amended Conditional Use Permit submitted by Missouri American Water Co. for the property at 12950 Maurer Industrial Drive to constrct a 3,150 sf buiding located on the South East portion of the property. (P-1-08)

What are the requirements regarding for a Public Hearing?
According the City's Zoning Code:

SECTION 12. PUBLIC NOTICES

12.1 Notice of public hearing.

12.1-1 Newspaper notice: A notice of every public hearing to be held under this ordinance shall be given as follows:

  • A) The notice of a public hearing shall be published, at least once, in a daily newspaper of general circulation within the city.
  • B) Publication shall commence not less than fifteen (15) days before the hearing date.
  • C) The notice shall provide the time and place of the hearing and include the following information:
    1. A street address of the subject property or other description of the location of such property;
    2. The name of the applicant or appellant; and
    3. A description of the specific action being requested by the applicant or appellant.

12.1-2 Posting of notice: In addition to the notice requirements of Subsection 12.1-1 a notice shall be posted on the property in question pursuant to the following:

  • A) Posting of the notice shall commence not less than fifteen (15) days before the hearing date.
  • B) The poster or posters shall be placed in a legible and visible location on the property; and
  • C) The poster shall contain the same information as required under Subsection 12.1-1 (C) above.
