Day Trip: Historic River Town - Cape Girardeau

Nestled along the banks of the Mighty Mississippi River, you'll find Cape Girardeau, a community rich in history and hospitality. While in Cape, we'll visit the new SEMO Regional Museum located on the beautiful River Campus of Southeast Missouri State university, the Old St. Vincent's Church, have lunch at Port Cape, shop along Main Street and tour historic Fort D, the only Civil War fort remaining in Cape. If we have time we'll walk along the river front and enjoy the Missouri Wall of Fame painted on the city's flood wall. Lunch will be on your own at Port Cape (generally $10 or less). Fee includes transportation by van and tour fees. Walking required for street shopping.
