This 6 week class is perfect for beginning yoga students or anyone who wants to focus on the foundation of yoga poses and breath work. We will practice and discuss proper alignment, stretching, and breathing. If you always wanted to try Yoga, this is a great opportunity to build the foundation.
This class focuses on specific yoga poses and sequencing that are beneficial for the spine, spinal muscles, as well as the core of the body. We will also practice specific breathing techniques and restorative movements on the floor for calming a stressed and agitated nervous system. A variety of yoga props will be used to support the body and we will end with a short mediation. No yoga experience is needed!
