A Garage Sale Permit or Estate Sale Permit is required from the City of Sunset Hills for all garage and estate sales within the city. Up to 3 Garage Sale Permits can be issued within a 12 month period, and such license shall be valid for one (1) day only. Only 1 Estate Sale can be issued within a 12 month period and such license shall be valid for three (3) days only. The applicant shall not place more than 1 piece of advertising on the property. Four (4) additional directional signs may be posted provided permission is obtained from the property owners where placed. Sales cannot start before 8 a.m.
