CONCRETE BID ANNOUNCEMENT

            The City of Sunset Hills Public Works Department is soliciting bids for concrete street replacement work.   Approximately 4,494 square yards of concrete (7" & 8” thick) will be replaced.  These will include 7” thick selected slab replacements on Rambling Oaks, Rambling Oaks Place, Triple Oaks, Alswell, Anton Place, Pointe Drive, Pointe Court, and Grandview Lake Drive.  The 8” thick replacements will include 3 slabs on Rahning Road that have dowel baskets and Gravois Industrial where many have a monolithic 6” vertical curb.    Sealed bids will be received until 10:00am; Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

            There will be no pre-bid meeting for this project.

            The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, to award on any bid that is most advantageous and to investigate the experience and ability of the bidder to perform the work.   Prevailing wages according to the current Missouri State Department of Labor Relations must be paid, as contained in the bid documents.  Bids should be accompanied by a bid surety in the form of a certified check or bid bond for 5% of the bid total.  More details concerning this work is available at www.sunset-hills.com
